A written customer comment paired with a star rating, displayed on your listing.
Reviews are 1-5 star ratings with optional written feedback. The most recent reviews appear at the top of your listing and disproportionately influence visitor conversion. Negative reviews from launch week of a buggy update can damage conversion for months. Responding to negative reviews (allowed on both stores) lifts conversion by 5-10% — visitors read your responses and credit you for being responsive. The best practice: respond to every 1-star review within 48 hours, focusing on the next-version fix.
