Review velocity

Review velocity is new reviews per day, normalized for app size. ~1-3% of installers leave reviews on average. Tracking review velocity gives you an estimate of install momentum that's available even when you don't have App Store Connect access (e.g., for a competitor). A sudden surge in negative reviews is the earliest signal of a regression in a recent update. A surge in positive reviews after a feature launch is validation that the feature resonated.
